Snapshot of Key Accountabilities:

The primary role of the VP of Sales is to drive revenue growth and expansion nationwide through the following:

  • Sales:
    • Establish annual and quarterly sales objectives
    • Develop and execute annual sales plan for growing client base
    • Establish both market and target customer strategies
    • Develop new business alliances , prospects and new B2B revenue sources
    • Develop and implement industry standard service/product pricing guidelines
    • Research industry trends to help uncover sales opportunities
    • Implement successful channel and partner programs
    • Develop and monitor revenue forecasts and sales compensation systems
    • Implement sales metrics to measure and report sales performance
  • Management:
    • Manage and build a team capable of handling our revenue targets
    • Implement sales strategies to create new sales  including outbound strategies, lead generation and closing
    • Coach and develop the sales team capable of consultative, team based selling
    • Translate our strategic objectives into individual goals and objectives
    • Deliver feedback and perform performance reviews to the sales team on an ongoing basis to ensure clarity of performance against objectives
    • Develop and manage the budget for the sales team
    • Assess the sales team’s annual training needs and provide recommendations

Must haves:

  • 10+ years experience in sales management with a proven track record of increasing sales year over year with recent experience in a small company
  • Experience selling professional services
  • Demonstrated success managing a team of at least 3 and building a consultative team
  • Possess a rolodex in South Florida with customers who know you
  • Proven track record in building a pipeline
  • Technology background with good understanding of Microsoft technology and products
  • Experience developing a sales compensation plan
  • Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point)
  • Experience using  a CRM system to manage sales


  • Experience in marketing to include digital marketing, webinars, SEO, etc.
  • Experience with IBM technologies and products
  • Experience in the Healthcare and/or Hospitality verticals
  • Bachelors degree
