Project Manager, PMP – Pompano Beach, FL

The Project Manager is responsible for providing world class project management to our customers with excellence from start to finish.  Like the quarterback of each project, you will be leading the team, picking the plays, and scoring the touchdown – being involved in every phase of the project including initiation, design, implementation, acceptance testing, going live and project closure.  You will be involved with managing several telecommunications and collocation implementations simultaneously, keeping your eye on the ball at all times.  Your role will grow as we take on more projects.

Critical outcomes include:

  • Becoming self sufficient in running the implementation pipeline for up to 40 projects
  • Establishing a formalized and efficient process for the Project Management Office focusing on standards for documentation, order handling, follow up, escalation issues
  • Cultivating client relationships through weekly status calls and excellent client feedback
  • Cultivating vendor relationships through proper escalation to assure on time deliverables
  • Updating and maintaining an accurate CRM system

Our ideal candidate will be quick to grasp our projects and solutions and pulling the resources together.  The PM can manage many projects simultaneously without dropping the ball.  Highly detailed, precise, with strong follow up is critical.  Plans work with accurate timelines and anticipates problems at each stage of the project.  Knows when to be tough with our carriers with the self confidence to escalate issues if necessary.  The PM will earn the respect of co-workers demonstrated by follow through, being proactive with the team, showing willingness to understand the project, creating standards, keeping the team on task, and avoiding errors that impact the project.


  • Minimum 3 years project management experience
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications with experience in the field, such as a data center, telecom implementations, etc.
  • PMP certified with up to date membership (proof will be required)
  • Superior documentation skills – candidates will be asked to provide a package to demonstrate how they ran a specific project and deliverables achieved
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point and a CRM database management system; MS Project is of added value
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; multilingual a plus
