More about the role…

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our company, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability.  This is a leadership role that requires strong strategic planning and management skills.

Snapshot of key accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness by ensuring production is up to date in each department and quality remains up to company standards.
  • Manage and supervise staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Oversee all department managers in the plant, ensuring the monitoring and adherence of employee schedules.
  • Interview new candidates applying for production operations positions.
  • Ensure proper training is being provided to new and existing team members.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to streamline operations.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and communication.
  • Manage all vendor relations by ensuring monitoring costs of supplies and services.
  • Control of ordering supplies as needed.
  • Conduct performance evaluations (90 day and Yearly reviews).

Skills and Experience required:

  • 5+ years operations experience in the dry cleaning industry
  • Strong understanding of plant operations
  • Management experience including hiring, performance evaluations, coaching
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent strategic planning abilities to set goals and objectives for the company
  • Proficient in process improvement methodologies to streamline operations
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions to manage profit & loss
  • Bilingual – highly preferred
  • Ability to work Monday – Saturday
