About the position:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Membership, this is a highly administrative role focused on data and operations management as well as providing the highest level of membership services.  Key accountabilities include:

Data and Operations Management:

  • Manage membership data including: updating member records and actively tracking/entering member activities into the system on a regular basis
  • Assist the Senior Director to streamline business workflow processes to improve efficiency
  • Provide updates on key website features to Chapter Chairs, chapter support, and new members
  • Analyze markets to identify prospective chapters and increase growth
  • Work in conjunction with Chapter Chairs to manage chapter event registrations, cancellations, etc.
  • Oversee the membership and web support email accounts, managing inquiries and communicating known issues
  • Provide data support to Chapter Chairs and chapter support members
  • Update and maintain the Chapter Chair resource library on the website
  • Conduct analyses and create standardized operational, management, and ad-hoc reports
  • Develop and manage the survey tool subscription


Membership Services:

  • Process and monitor the membership renewal process
  • Apply membership dues payments to member profiles
  • Oversee the online join process for WCD and BoardNext applications and coordinate with respective Chapter Chairs for formal review
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director to facilitate orientations for Chapter Chairs, Chapter support, and new members
  • Assist the Senior Director with chapter outreach and administration
  • Support membership programming including: Leadership meetings, Leadership Lounges, Membership Cafes, peer exchange groups, and chapter launches
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director to update the Chapter Operational Guidelines and track Chapter Chair acceptance and compliance

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field required
  • 5+ years administrative operations experience
  • Experience with a database management system (iMIS preferred)
  • Nonprofit and/or membership services experience a plus
  • Advanced level Excel and excellent computer skills required
  • Strong curiosity about data trends and information and how it can inform membership/marketing decisions for retention, acquisition, and engagement of members
  • Experience performing and/or coordinating data loads and extracts for reporting purposes
  • Bi-lingual (verbal/written) preferred
  • Ability to work remotely M-F from 8:30am to 5pm EST including frequent video conference meetings (Zoom, MS Teams, etc), as well as ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Ability to support our international audience which may require off hours sessions at certain times, particularly during the Global Institute
  • Ability to travel (lightly) as needed
