Snapshot of key accountabilities:

You will be responsible for planning, directing, administering and monitoring all facets of Human Resources including:

  • Translating the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans
  • Developing policies and procedures for the effective management of our people including employee relations, sexual harassment, employee investigations/discipline and safety
  • Managing our corporate compensation and benefit programs to ensure market competitiveness
  • Managing EEOC and Workers Compensation claims and related insurance programs
  • Coordinating and implementing our performance management process
  • Managing Employee Hotline Communications
  • Evaluating the HR division structure and staffing plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group

Skills/Experience and Knowledge required:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in Senior HR/HR Management in positions of progressive responsibility
  • Sound knowledge and demonstrated skills in the following:
    • Strategic HR processes
    • Benefit plan design, including 401K
    • Compensation
    • Compliance and laws, including federal and state regulations
    • Employee relations, including conflict resolution, alternative dispute processes and facilitation skills
    • EEOC and Workers Compensation claims management
    • Performance management
  • Retail experience required or experience managing hourly employees in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Supervisory experience of at least 6
  • Computer proficiency to include MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Experience with an HRIS system is of value
  • Ability to travel to our stores when required (both in and out of state)
  • 4 year degree is required, preferably in HR, Business Administration or related field
  • Active PHR certification is required; SPHR preferred
