Snapshot of key accountabilities:

The Director of HR will have full responsibility for all areas of human resources, including talent acquisition and retention, on boarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, policies and procedures, and compliance.  You will directly manage a staff of several HR professionals.

Key initiatives include:

  • Establish the firm as an Employer of Choice
  • Completion and implementation of our new strategic HR plan
  • Seamlessly meld our separate offices into one HR department so that the firm is operating under the same policies and procedures
  • Enhance  HR firm-wide by providing better  responsiveness and communication
  • Manage the performance review process ensuring timeliness, up to date technology, and providing training so that reviews are consistent and well documented
  • Work closely with our Learning & Development Director in the development of career paths, mentoring programs  and other training/development opportunities

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:

  • Minimum 8 years progressively responsible experience in HR including strong recruitment, employee relations, compensation, performance management, compliance and other key areas of the HR spectrum
  • Direct management experience of an HR team of at least 4
  • Experience working for a large company of 400-800 employees
  • Experience with a professional services firm or working with senior level professionals
  • Experience with a company during a time of significant growth
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Eloquent speaking and writing ability
  • Embraces the use of behavioral assessments
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • 4 year degree, preferably in the HR field
  • SPHR, PHR or SHRM certification highly preferred
