Snapshot of key accountabilities:

  • Preparation of receipts for bank deposits
  • Preparation of invoices and reconciliation of accounts receivable
  • Processing of accounts payable, including coding
  • Research and resolution of AP issues
  • Monthly bank reconciliations, including Paypal
  • Preparation of journal entries
  • Maintenance of general ledger
  • Recording of investment portfolio activity
  • Preparation of financial statements in Quickbooks
  • Maintenance of deadlines for accounting processes and financial reporting

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:

  • 3 to 6 years of  bookkeeping experience, preferably serving multiple clients at a time
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting highly desirable
  • Strong skills in Excel
  • Strong skills in QuickBooks Online and Desktop; Great Plains/MS Dynamics a plus
