About the position:

You will be responsible for the installation, programming and ongoing maintenance of our security systems.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • System design – deploy site survey and create a detailed SOW for project budgeting
  • Perform required systems tests to determine whether the product functions as specified, determining the cause of product failure, and analyzing test results
  • Review job files for job layout drawings, specifications and other technical data for efficient inspections
  • Review material and equipment lists for installation and service repairs and document any material discrepancies
  • Responsible for all parts, materials, equipment, tools and supplies and maintain accurate inventory records for all items
  • Accurate completion of all required documentation (timesheets, service acknowledgements, quotes, inventory transfer sheets, inspection certificates, etc)
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending manufacturer training
  • Ensure that long term customer relationships are protected by providing value added services
  • Effect the smooth communications and rapport between the customer, on site personnel and company personnel
  • Keep Project Manager aware of the job’s status on a regular basis

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:

  • Proven experience in the project management of security systems installations
  • Excellent knowledge of security systems design, access control, CCTV and networking
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers with strong customer service skills
