About the position:

This is primarily a hunter focused role with some account management responsibilities.  Reporting to the Director of Sales, key accountabilities include:

  • Generating new client business, closing sales and growing accounts to meet revenue and margin goals
  • Achieving predefined sales goals in order to contribute to the company’s yearly revenue goals
  • Developing new client leads and maintaining a healthy pipeline with high conversion rates
  • Promoting our company in the industry and seeking client accounts that best fit with our services
  • Participating in all internal sales meetings to facilitate knowledge sharing and provide optimal progress updates to the sales team and management
  • Attending seminars, conferences and meetings focused on building new business and maximizing revenue
  • Documenting all sales activity in the company CRM system

Skills, Experience and Knowledge required:

  • Excellent understanding of the CNC machining industry
  • Deep contacts in the aerospace, medical, automotive, industrial mechanical, or food & beverage industries, preferably with an established book of business in these industries
  • Strong technical B2B solution selling in machining, industrial sales environments
  • Proven sales skills including lead generation, prospecting, cold calling, qualifying and closing including ability to identify and influence key decision makers
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical field is a plus
