SENIOR ESTIMATOR – with high rise experience

Plaza Construction Group South Florida is soaring with new projects and seeking a strong Senior Estimator with high rise experience for our new projects in Miami. This is your opportunity to make an impact on one of the most prominent GC’s in South Florida! You will be responsible for leading a team from conceptual to contract on magnificent and prestigious projects that will be dotting our skyline.

Our work spans the residential and hospitality sectors, as well as high end retail and interiors, and luxury homes. Plaza is known for such prestigious projects as the W South Beach hotel, the 67-story Marquis and Canyon Ranch North Tower, to name only a few.  Current projects include the premier beachfront development, 1 Hotel & Homes in South Beach, the U.S.’s first all new AC Hotel in Miami Beach, the 42 story Icon Bay and 42 story 1100 Millecento.   We are the proud recipient of the Contractor of the Year 2013 Award from the American Institute of Architects Miami Chapter.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:

  • Minimum 15 years experience in estimating with proven experience managing a team of at least 3
  • Experience estimating high rise projects (over 20 stories)
  • Strong knowledge of all divisions – interiors and base building
  • Ability to do on screen takeoffs
  • Strong conceptual estimating skills
  • Proficient with Excel and Outlook
  • Bachelors degree preferred
