Superintendent:
We are seeking a Superintendent for our rapidly expanding Multi-Family Division which represents almost half of our current backlog.
Keys to success:
- Ensure project success through scheduling, quality control and minimizing warranty call backs
- Carefully follow our company policies
- Meet our contractual obligations by delivering projects on time and within budget
Experience & Skills required:
- Minimum 10 years experience constructing garden and/or midrise apartment projects using masonry/concrete slab or tunnel form structural systems
- Managed projects 10M+ out of the ground
- Demonstrated experience generating primary and 2 week look ahead schedules, supervising subcontractors and vendors, managing quality control, reviewing submittals, conducting weekly sub meetings, ensuring jobsite safety and security, maintaining as-built drawings and directing project close out.
- Microsoft Outlook and ability to retrieve documents in our system from field or office
- Bilingual is a plus
Sr. Estimator:
We are seeking a Sr. Estimator to work on a variety of our projects.
Keys to success:
- Prepare competitive and accurate conceptual, budgetary and final bid proposals, insuring professional quality
- Ensure bids are prepared that are consistent with bid package documents, i.e. instructions to bidders, scope narratives, plans, specifications, etc.
- Review designs and engineering specifications for cost effectiveness and suggest alternatives (VE)
- Develop effective bid strategies to ensure competitive edge
- Develop and maintain design professional and client relationships in developing future sales
- Manage bid team through proper planning and coordination of their activities, motivating staff to complete bids accurately and on time
Experience & Skills required:
- Minimum 5 years in estimating in multi-family, education, healthcare, and/or municipal work
- Ability to read engineering and architectural drawings and specifications
- Ability to read and understand contracts
- Ability to do on-screen takeoffs is preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Bachelors Degree in construction preferred
