Real Estate Analyst – ground floor opportunity!

Snapshot of Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform in-depth underwriting and financial modeling  and analysis required for potential acquisitions and existing assets consistent with our strategy
  • Prepare models for joint venture waterfall structures including cash flow, NPV, discounted cash flow analysis and IRR analysis
  • Research, monitor and analyze real estate market conditions to contribute and facilitate investment decisions
  • Perform comprehensive due diligence on new acquisitions
  • Assist in the creation of thorough and concise investment memorandums
  • Assist in the preparation of investor presentations and other marketing materials

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:

  • Minimum 4 years experience as an analyst in commercial real estate acquisitions with a diversified project mix including retail, hospitality, office
  • Strong expertise in acquisitions including due diligence, underwriting, investment models and market studies
  • Outstanding financial analysis skills including ability to create, modify and analyze financial spreadsheets and calculate investment returns
  • Advanced Excel skills, intermediate Word, Outlook and Power Point
  • Argus –very  strongly desired
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required, both speaking and written
  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Real Estate
  • Able and willing to travel when required to view new or existing projects
