The Project Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of construction projects, promoting unity within the company, maximizing our workforce through constant monitoring techniques and evaluating performance standards for use in ongoing training.

Snapshot of key accountabilities:

  •  Ensure that profit and growth goals are being met
  • Ensure that all departmental equipment and assets are maintained in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Recruit, hire and train your team
  • Conduct performance evaluations of department employees
  • Manage the scheduling and assignment to projects of job tasks, making certain that personnel are qualified and maintain the most productivity
  • Track job costing of each project comparing results to budget
  • Work with Project Administrator to ensure proper scheduling of projects, permitting and all other phases of the projects
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels and turns, proper material handling procedures, and accuracy of stock counts

Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

  •  Expert knowledge of HVAC
  • At least 5 years field experience in the HVAC industry
  • At least 2 years experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC industry with knowledge of budgets, permitting, job costing, ordering of material and equipment, scheduling, NTO’s, lien processing
  • Management experience including hiring and training
  • Familiar with all aspects of the service management cycle from the sale to installation to ongoing customer service
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Familiar with project management software (Procore preferred)
  • OSHA training or certification preferred
  • Bilingual is of value
