Skills, Experience, Knowledge Required:

 Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager:

  • 5+ years experience as a PM with a commercial general contractor (7 years preferred) or 3+ years experience as an APM (5 years preferred)
  • Project Manager should have ground up experience on projects from $10M – $75M
  • Read, analyze and interpret construction docs with knowledge of all phases of construction
  • Good experience with RFI’s, Change Orders, Submittals, Asbuilt process, Subcontracts
  • Proficiency in construction methods, materials, budgets, scheduling, cost control
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Timberline (or other construction software), MS Project (or other scheduling software) and Procore (or other project management software)
  • Bachelors degree in construction or related field is of value

Project Coordinator:

  • Minimum 1 year related commercial construction experience (3 years preferred)
  • General knowledge of construction project management including pre-con, start up and close out, subcontracts, PO’s, change orders, scheduling, submittal and shop drawing process, RFI’s
  • Ability to read shop drawings and construction plans
  • Computer skills as above
  • Bachelors degree in construction or related field is preferred

Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent:

  • 5+ years experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor (7-10 years preferred) or 3-5 years as an Assistant Superintendent (interiors preferred)
  • Superintendent should have ground up experience on projects from $10M – $75M
  • Deep knowledge of all phases of the commercial construction process
  • Understand building plans and specifications
  • Experience supervising and directing the work of employees and sub contractors
  • Maintain the construction schedule to meet deadlines
