The Interior Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all interior work of our projects from framing to closeout.

Snapshot of key accountabilities:

  • Coordinate subcontractor activities beginning at the scheduling phase and continuing through to the completion of work
  • Thoroughly understand all construction documents and activities pertaining to the work to be overseen
  • Monitor productivity and quality of work daily to ensure the highest quality workmanship is provided and that all work complies with the project specifications and standards
  • Track deficiencies and notify subcontractor during phase of work to minimize punch list
  • Review plans and specifications for any discrepancies prior to the beginning of work so that RFI’s and Clarifications may be submitted and answered
  • Reduce company liability by documenting all issues in writing
  • Order materials and schedule necessary inspections
  • Promote jobsite safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify jobsite hazards
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policy by all employees and contractors
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and colleagues

Skills, Experience, Knowledge Required:

  • 3+ years experience as a superintendent with a commercial general contractor
  • Strong interior experience including scheduling, sequencing, coordination of interior trades, punch list, and close out
  • Familiar with local codes and regulations and be capable enforcing them on a daily basis
  • Functioning computer skills including ability to use a tablet (iPad, SurfacePro, etc.) in the field; basic skills in MS Office and Procore preferred
