Our Technology:

Silver Bullet’s advanced oxidation process (AOP) technology provides effective water treatment solutions that are non-corrosive, contributes to water de-contamination, inhibits scale formation, and improves water taste and odor. Our UV-based water treatment solutions provide highly effective bacteria and biologic content control, and our media filtration solutions optimally deal with suspended solids, turbidity, and precipitated minerals. Silver Bullet’s technology contributes beneficially to livestock disease prevention, loss reduction and yield improvement; helps horticulturists improve plant health and increase yield; and saves industrial and data center commercial customers money through energy and water conservation. In each of our target markets, we are displacing conventional chemical treatment processes that pose toxicity complications, as well as potentially hazardous materials handling and storage issues.

About the position:

This Inside Sales Representative will be located in our Golden headquarters office, and will be responsible for sales and customer service to new and existing customers. This position is focused on commercial controlled environment agriculture operations, including cannabis, leafy greens, and/or flowers. This role also requires technical sales responsibilities using knowledge of water treatment processes, irrigation water management, and basic agronomy practices. The position is also responsible for business performance reporting, product profitability, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, conflict resolution and building the Silver Bullet brand.

This is a junior sales position with the opportunity to advance into outside sales.  Initial responsibilities during the first year will include an administrative component focused on preparing quotations, following up with customers, working with the science/engineering team to ensure site evaluations are completed including water testing, and training under our General Manager.

Snapshot of key accountabilities:

  • Identifies revenue opportunities within the horticulture market through communications, programs, and other activities as needed.
  • Prospects, qualifies and generates sales; provides sales presentations to potential customers and dealers.
  • Communicates with prospects to identify appropriate contacts; qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Engages in technical discussion with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations.
  • Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and development in the B2B infrastructure and market changes with respect to growth and demand of water treatment products and services.
  • Properly records all communications, activities and relevant information from point of contacting the lead to the completion of sale.
  • Works with science, engineering, operations, and service departments to execute the sale, commissioning, and service of revenue-generating accounts.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:

  • 4-year college degree in Marketing/Sales, Engineering, or Horticulture (or equivalent) – mandatory
  • 1-5 years job experience in relevant sales or technical operations role
  • Experience in the horticulture or water treatment industry highly preferred
  • Experience selling a highly engineered product, and ability to transfer technical product knowledge to others
  • Proficient with Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Knowledge of SalesForce, and sales pipeline management tools required
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time (nationally)
