If you thrive in a fast paced environment and having a seat at the executive table, we want to hear from you!  World Emblem is a fast growing company in the design and manufacture of custom embroidered, direct embroidery and screen printed emblems.  We are seeking a dynamic Director of Human Resources to join our talented team of professionals.  Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for talent acquisition and retention, employee engagement and well-being, oversight of payroll and benefits administration, our HR management system, and legal compliance.  You will have the opportunity to implement a strategic cutting-edge talent management system while being a hands-on leader.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Recruit and hire “A” players at every level of the company through Topgrading, our cutting edge talent acquisition system
  • Drive our talent management initiative with the retention of “A” players
  • Manage succession planning  through the identification and assessment of high potential employees and creation of individual development plans
  • Ensure leadership effectiveness through implementation of 360 surveys
  • Maintain compliance with all HR legal aspects
  • Ensure employee engagement through coordination of our “employee health index” program

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • Minimum 8 years as an HR generalist with strong recruitment experience
  • Supervision experience of at least 2 direct reports
  • Excellent written and spoken English; Spanish is a huge plus

  • Ability to travel 25 days a year
