Our work spans the residential and hospitality sectors, as well as high end retail and interiors, and luxury homes.  Plaza is known for such prestigious projects as the W South Beach hotel, the 67-story Marquis and Canyon Ranch North Tower, to name only a few.  Current projects include the premier beachfront development, 1 Hotel & Homes in South Beach, the luxurious 34 story condominium NINE at Mary Brickell Village, the US’s first all new AC Hotel in Miami Beach, the 42 story Icon Bay and 42 story Millicento.   We are the proud recipient of the Contractor of the Year 2013 Award from the American Institute of Architects Miami Chapter and one of the top 25 GC’s in South Florida.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Identify potential deals and develop the tactics needed to bring them to fruition
  • Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with our overall strategy
  • Represent Plaza at the highest level to clients, peers, and business associations
  • Work with our Project Executives, Estimating and Marketing staff to develop proposals, presentations, scopes of work and estimate fees
  • Maintain and develop contacts in the marketplace and construction industry
  • Maintain an active, high profile presence in professional and community organizations

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:

 

  • 10+ years experience in commercial construction with a proven track record of winning business, including new market sectors
  • Possess established relationships with developers, architects, lenders and other institutions such as universities, government, etc.
  • Thorough understanding of construction industry terminology and procedures
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Bachelors degree
