Key Accountabilities:

 Client Service Management:

  • Spearhead and manage the firm’s delivery of services to clients
  • Onboard new clients smoothly and efficiently
  • Assign and schedule staff
  • Ensure deliverables are on time

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheet schedules, audit packages

Financial Analysis:

  • Prepare budgets and projections
  • Analyze data and report on  ratios, trends,  and variances
  • Create dashboards of key performance metrics

Internal Controls and Process Improvement:

  • Document work flow, data flow and internal controls
  • Strengthen control weaknesses
  • Implement policies and procedures

Skills, Experience and Knowledge required:

 Must haves:

  • 5+ years experience in a public accounting firm as a CPA auditor
  • 5+ years experience as a Controller in  private industry with companies ranging from startup to $200M in revenues
  • Technologically savvy – on top of the latest technology and highly proficient in QuickBooks (ERP systems  like NetSuite and Great Plains a plus), and MS Office
  • Expert in US GAAP
  • Superb Excel skills including v-lookups and pivot tables
  • CPA license (preferably active)
  • Willing to drive throughout S. Fla and spend majority of time at clients
