About the position:
This key role is responsible for overseeing investments and relationships between Sefira and its property managers and JV partners. Maximizing total return for each asset through analysis of property efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance is a critical outcome for success.
Key accountabilities include:
- Work closely with third party property managers and leasing agents to provide direction for and oversight of business plans, budgets, forecasts, leases, renewals, analysis and approvals
- Work with joint venture partners to review and control the property management or development process
- Collect and compile data on returns, fees and taxes
- Collect market data and conduct benchmarking analysis
- Negotiate leases and third party contracts
- Manage cash flow, distribution analysis and investment projections
- Preparation of property valuation, annually or more frequently if necessary
- Develop and distribute periodic asset management reports for Senior Management
- Provide pre-acquisition input and assistance in due diligence process, including review of financial and operational assumptions
- Model full life cycle financial analysis for each asset from acquisition through disposition
- Manage coordination of post-acquisition activities and integration of asset into the firm’s ownership portfolio
- Handle debt re-financings on an as needed basis
- Manage capital improvement projects
- Oversee asset disposition process
- Assist in special projects including oversight of portfolio real estate tax and Insurance programs

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial real estate asset management experience
- Experience in property management/development/leasing/operations desirable
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Operations, Real Estate or related field with strong record of academic achievement (MBA preferred, but not required)
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or MRI preferred
- Ability to travel as necessary
- Spanish is preferred, but not required
