Our preference is a candidate who lives in a state where there is a significant poultry and pork industry, such as TN, MN, IA, or MO and is able to work remotely as our offices are in Denver.

Snapshot of key accountabilities:

  • Establish marketing goals to ensure market share and profitability of products and services
  • Develop and execute marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of our products and services including:  creating brand message, increasing publication exposure, lead generation through e-marketing, creating white papers and case studies, writing press releases, and assisting in the development of sales collateral
  • Plan and oversee our advertising and promotion activities including print, electronic, and direct mail
  • Develop and write web site content and assist in directing SEO efforts
  • Determine convention and marketing display strategy to drive booth traffic
  • Oversee copywriting, design, layout, paste-up, and production of promotional materials with outside writers and artists
  • Evaluate market reactions to advertising, public relations, and lead generation programs, ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Prepare marketing activity reports
  • Keep up to date on legislative initiatives regarding current events that may impact the Agricultural industry

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:

  • 4+ years experience in marketing communications including strong product branding and messaging
  • Background in agricultural marketing (poultry and pork especially) is highly desired
  • Strong creative writing skills required
  • Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) including knowledge of graphics software
  • Experience with com or other CRM preferred
  • Experience with a CMS system for web site content development
  • BS degree in Marketing or Communications is highly desired
