Opening for Controller for Electronics Distributor in Doral

 

We are a $25M electronics distribution company and provider of logistics solutions to the broadcast & audio visual industries.  We are a stable, respected brand in our industry with over 45 years of success and in a growth mode with aggressive goals.   We are seeking a Controller to join our team.

 Key accountabilities include:

 Learn, integrate, evaluate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the department

  • Present company financials to the President on a monthly basis (journal entries, bank statements, KPI’s)
  • Sales tax filings (4 states)
  • Oversee human resources (including payroll and benefits)
  • Build and manage the accounting team instilling a culture of responsibility and accountability

 Skills and Experience Required:

  •  Minimum 7 years experience as a ControllerProven success managing people
  • Distribution or inventory experience of added value
  • 4 year accounting degree an added value
  • Fluent and clear oral and written English
  • Advanced Excel skills
